May 23
The San Francisco Unified School District chose five “outstanding graduates” who exemplify traits in the Graduate Profile of the district’s Vision 2025: Reimagining Public Education for a New Generation. Two of the five were from June Jordan School for Equity!
We are especially proud that Jamarc and Renz spoke not just about their own goals for the future, but also about how they want to help others and promote social justice:

“When I began attending June Jordan in high school, I really started to learn about social justice and the history of my own culture. I’ve always wanted to be a scientist, and now I want to also work to make sure I help people.”
